Or build your own team. The Stats option (available from the More screen) lets you build a custom team from players across the league and view their stats, perfect for fans of fantasy baseball, football, and basketball.

The name doesn't lie, this app is honest-to-god sportacular. It's hard to imagine how it could do more to please even the most hardcore news-and-stats sports geek (it even covers rosters for fantasy-league teams). In practice, Sportacular acts like several apps, one for every sport it covers, with the display changing slightly for each one. Choose your sport and then dive deep to wallow in scores, news, team stats, and schedules.

Could someone e-mail me information on why I don't get the alerts even though I have subscribed for them?

Thank you.

Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I'd like to write like this too - taking time and real effort to make a good article... but what can I say... I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done
